PHILOSOPHY OF ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT, LAUTECH

The guiding principle of the department is the development of skills in Architecture and Environmental Sciences through academic excellence integrated with sufficient technological, research and practical application to produce employment generator graduates of integrity.

OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT

• The establishment of sound facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Architecture and other related subjects.

• The production of graduates who are able to create rather than seek jobs, hence the integrated and comprehensive technological approach to the training programme.

• The organization of research that is directed towards solving immediate problems   through the use of locally available materials.
